2002 Medium red-purple; fresh, juicy berry aromas are replicated on the palate, which has plenty of flavour yet is very soft and with ripe tannins. Micro-oxygenation may well have been used in this unoaked blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Shiraz.

2001 Light to medium red-purple; a fragrant and clean bouquet with some herb and mint aspects is followed by a palate in which juicy, jammy grenache varietal flavour dominates the wine; zero tannins, the overall effect equivalent to a high octane Rose, best served slightly chilled.

2000 Medium purple-red; the bouquet is clean, quite fresh and spicy, with some gamey varietal character, a character which is often (incorrectly) attributed to brettanomyces. Sweet, soft berry fruit and ripe tannins run through the palate which inevitably shows the absence of oak maturation, but overall works well enough.
