The Vineyards (The Extended Family)

Ward Vineyard

Our resident carpenter/builder Graham Ward decided to sell us the grapes from his Vine Vale vineyard in 2008. Although we generally steer clear of the vineyards on the eastern side of the Barossa Valley and the Valley floor, Graham has a great aspect and vineyard site so we decided to give it a go. His fruit has been a great component for the Woodcutter’s Shiraz for the past three vintages, and it is Vineyards like these that are the reason why the Woodcutter’s is such a fantastic drop.
