The Vineyards (The Extended Family)

Marschall Vineyard

David Marschall grows some of the best grapes in the Barossa from his Vine Vale Vineyard. Vine Vale is characterised by its sandy soils and flat aspect. The roots of the vines have to grow very deep to get water and minerals here and most years struggle hard. This vineyard it totally managed by hand. David believes in 'working up the vineyards' (tillage) and has used organic composting for the last 6 years. A great vineyard.

Key Fruit Characteristics:

Marschall's Vine Vale grapes have fine aromas and good, deep colours. As wine the aromas are lifted and the flavours deep and resonant.
