The Vineyards (The Extended Family)

Hongell Vineyard

A father and son team whose unique soil and attention to detail combine to create some of the most profound fruit in the valley. Minimal tillage is implemented and organic composts are used. These practices together with hard 'spur' pruning produce low yields, immense purity and exceptional consistency.

Key Fruit Characteristics:

The Grenache has its own unique aroma and taste, no doubt due to the biscay soil it is grown in. Deep raspberry, tar and cigar box aromas are typical each year.
