The Vineyards (The Extended Family)

Hillside Vineyard

Hilllside is a historical property in the Barossa and was one of the very first settled in the 1830's. Acquired by Torbreck in 2002 its ancient buldings and vineyards are being brought slowly back to life.

Key Fruit Characteristics

Grapes grown at our Hillside vineyard, located in cooler, southerly Lyndoch, are typified by lifted aromatics and fine tannins. They provide us with fragrance and texture each year. The old shiraz is exceptional, providing an exceptional liquer-like richness
